Michele McLeod not only impressed with her barrel racing performances at the Wrangler National Finals Rodeo earlier this month, but she also turned heads with her style.

McLeod took home the Jerry Ann Taylor Best Dressed Award and a $5,000 grand prize in Las Vegas on Dec. 10. The award, which is decided by a fan vote and is also given out at the Fort Worth Stock Show and Rodeo Finals, is named in honor of the late Jerry Ann Taylor, a daring trick rider who embodied western style and glamour, and is sponsored by the National Cowgirl Hall of Fame.

The top three for the 2016 award at the WNFR were:

  • First place: Michele McLeod -- $5,000
  • Second place: Kimmie Wall -- $1,000
  • Third place: Mary Walker -- $500
After winning the award, McLeod thanked Emily Dudley from Deuces Wild for Slick By Design's tack and for designing her outfits, Shorty's Caboy Hattery for her amazing cowboy hats, CINCH JEANS for the jeans and shirts, and Tanner Mark Boots for her boots.
