Emmanuel Sanders: NFL Stardom With Rodeo Roots
Emmanuel Sanders is a star on the football field with roots in the rodeo. Check out this video courtesy of SB Nation.

In 2015, Emmanuel Sanders led the Pittsburgh Steelers in receiving yards en route to a victory in Super Bowl 50 over the New England Patriots. His illustrious professional career started in 2010, when the Steelers drafted Sanders out of SMU. With three consecutive years of over 1,000 yards in receiving, he's got a lot left in his tank.
But here's one thing football fans — or rodeo fans, for that matter — may not know about Sanders: the 30-year-old native of Bellville, Texas, found much of his athletic inspiration in his bull-riding uncle.
In the video below, produced by SB Nation, Sanders discusses the love, passion, hard work, and craftsmanship that every cowboy possesses, and how those traits translated to his journey on the gridiron. Sanders was such a fan of rodeo, apparently, that he grabbed a rope as a kid and roped anything in his path — garbage cans, chairs, even his sister.
That sounds like dedication to us.
