Sydni Blanchard reported to friends on Facebook yesterday that her horse, Mr. Famous Jess, suffered an injury that resulted in the gelding having to be put down. Blanchard reported that during barrel racing practice at Rodeo Houston on Sunday morning, the 9-year-old shattered his coffin bone. 

The three-time WNFR qualifier will no doubt feel the loss of the horse she had the opportunity to run at the Super Bowl of rodeo in 2017, but also the loss of a special member of the family.
