TFB's Tasmanian Devil Comes In A Whirlwind To Win Chap Vote
Our Best Chap Vote has come to an end with TFB Leather's Tasmanian Devil spinning its way to the top of the vote.

We have a winner
Our #BestChapVote has come and gone. For the past week you, the fans, have voted on which chaps were the rankest, flashiest and most creative in the arena.
WINNER: TFB Leather
TFB Leather's Tasmanian Devil Chaps won by a landslide, picking up over half the total votes. Ben Forster is a Canadian leatherworker who designs and creates incredible chaps, belts and more for some of Canada's top rodeo athletes.
"Everybody likes to look good and rough stock events are no exception," Ben said. "Wearing quality leather goods is an opportunity to express one's self through creativity and add a little more confidence - feel good, look good, ride good."
We love the sense of whimsy in these chaps. We're sure that Brad Ingersoll (the bull rider who ordered these bad boys) is spurring his way into a frenzy just like Taz did in Looney Tunes.
RUNNER UP: JR Verzain
JR Verzain's Bucking Beauties came in second place. These intricately tooled bucking horse chaps feature a unique color combo, a stunning bucking horse and alligator pattern. JR's spurred many a rank one with these flashy leggings.
KATY'S PICK: Louie V Chaps
I'll also add that it's pretty cool that they were featured in GQ magazine - obviously, a "mainstream" media form - that I would have never guessed would feature any kind of western event but got the sport out to a whole new fan base.
GABI'S PICK: Back When They Bucked
Genius. Pure, unadulterated genius.
All you hear about in the roughie world from old cowboys is "back when they bucked" - old hands griping about how the city slicker bull riders of today could have never stuck it to one on the bovine of yesteryear. Enter in Travvy Smith's chaps.
When I first saw these I literally sent a screenshot to our entire team. I love the fact that there's a caveman on a triceratops, the chaps are suede and they're even Fred Flinstone colors.
Yabba dabba buck 'em boys!
