Analysis:
Jared Parsonage is known for his consistency in the bull riding. He just plain rides more, and collects more checks than many of the CPRA bull riders going down the road today.
A look at his top scores from 2018 above also shows that he’s not only consistent, but the tall, lanky bull rider from Saskatchewan can lay down some impressive rides as well. Even more impressive, was the string of rides Parsonage put together at the end of the rodeo season to rocket himself to No. 1 in the bull riding standings.
In the final weekend of CPRA competition, the Maple Creek cowboy was the only competitor to cover two bull during the Grass Roots Final in Calgary, Alberta and picked up $6,562.50 to shoot to No. 1. Parsonage competed again at the Hanna Indoor Pro Rodeo and posted and exciting 88-point score to win the last rodeo of the CPRA season, just for good measure.
Parsonage enters the CFR with nearly a $4,000 lead on the nearest competition and the confidence of a strong season finish to keep him rolling through the next six rounds.
