Rising Star: Bailey Gregg, 15-Year-Old All-Around Cowgirl

Team roper, barrel racer, goat tier, and a rodeo queen with a strong working cow horse background. Fifteen-year-old Bailey Gregg truly is an all-around cowgirl.

“I’ve been around horses since I could walk,” said the cowgirl from Guthrie, Oklahoma. “I’ve always wanted to ride and I’ve never played any other sports.”

She started her competitive career in the working cow horse field – where riders are known for their great horsemanship skills that no-doubt help her today. During that time, she rodeo’d on and off but it wasn’t until two years ago that she decided to focus on the sport of rodeo.

In 2018 Gregg saw success in her own backyard. The National Little Britches Association Finals is hosted in her hometown and this rising star was some success in the team roping, placing third in the aggregate and finishing as the No. 6 team roper in the world standings.
