Round one is in the books after the first day of slack at Guymon. Steer wrestlers, team ropers, and tie-down ropers have taken on fresh pens of cattle, trying to make it into the top 40 that will compete in the rodeo performances.
They will compete again tomorrow for round two before the top 40 are drawn into the performances.
The steer roping competition is also complete after four go-rounds of competition earlier in the week in Guymon, Oklahoma.
