Utopia, Texas’ Madison Outhier is the 2017 World Champion of the 14 and under girls breakaway roping, a title her accomplished rodeo father is no-doubt proud of.

The young Outhier showed signs of a professional roping mentor with her sharp loop in the final round of competition, winning her the title with a time of 2.95. As it turns out, she is the daughter of Linderman Award Winner and four-time NFR qualifier Mike Outhier.
