Some of the top amateur rodeo competitors in the world and the best professionals in the PRCA, PBR, and WPRA are going head-to-head at RFD-TV’s The American, presented by Dish for the biggest one-day payout in rodeo: $2 million.

To earn a chance at the top prize, qualified contestants and exemptions will battle it out at last-minute qualifier events and the semifinals, which run from Sunday, Feb. 18, to Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Cowtown Coliseum in Forth Worth, Texas. Come Sunday, Feb. 25, the best competitors in the semifinals will rise to the top to take on 10 of the best cowboys and cowgirls in the world during the finals at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.

There they will all compete for the $100,000 first-place prize in each event, plus the $1 million bonus prize for any qualifier who can beat the invited champions.
