Ten-year-old London Gorham ran a 13.740 the first night of the semifinals for RFD-TV’s The American, presented by Dish, then had to sit and wait on the sidelines as two more performances of tough competitors tried to beat her time. She not only finished as the top barrel racer of the semifinals, winning a spot in The American finals, but also took home over $40,000 plus a bonus “up-and-comer” check of $5,000 from Dish.
