Twenty-three-year-old Shay Marks - who has been on the sidelines since a shoulder reconstructive surgery in 2017 - not only had a good first event back, but captured his first PBR Monster Energy Tour Victory over the weekend. The Sunnybrook, Alberta cowboy tied for the win in the first and championship rounds, earned over $6,000 and with 510 points Marks went from unranked to the No. 1 position in Canada. Canadian bull rider Jared Parsonage made his debut on the PBR's Unleash The Beast Tour last weekend in Glendale, but now the cowboy is back on familiar ground - or soil that is - at the PBR Canada Winnipeg Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada this weekend. He's a decorated competitor in both the Canadian Professional Rodeo Association and PBR Canada, and is definitely one to watch for this weekend.

When Chase Outlaw hit the dirt at the PBR Unleash The Beast's Ak Chin Invitational in Glendale, Arizona, the clock said he was just shy of the eight-second mark. With just thousandths of a second between him not getting a score and him placing in the round, that was a wager he was willing to take. Watch Outlaw's ride and mad dash to hit the PBR's challenge button, which ultimately ended up in a timing review that earned him an 85.75-point score instead of a "better luck next time".

"Keep going cowboy," was all Joao Ricardo Veiera thought as the seemingly slow eight-seconds ticked by in the championship round of the Ak Chin Invitational. This PBR Unleash The Beast event in Glendale, Arizona marked the first time Veiera got the "W" on the tour since 2016 and, as he explains, the win is made all the more special because of what the PBR family has gone through in the last week.
Being the daughter of a rodeo competitor myself, I love seeing the bond between rough and tough "rodeo dads" and their sweet daughters. It's clear the see the one three-time PBR world champion Silvano Alves shares with his nine-year-old, who sat at the side of the arena and cheered all the way through the Unleash The Beast event in Glendale, Arizona, but upped the volume when it was dad's turn to compete.
